HWK Dongle Tutorial


HELLO FRIENDS I AM POSTING HERE COMPLETE TUTORIAL HOW TO REPROGRAM DEAD HWK  AND ALL OTHER TEXAS INSTRUMENTS  MSP430 SERIES MCU,S THIS TUTORIAL IS SPECIALLY FOR MSP430F1121A WHICH USED IN HWK CHIP LETS START.



WHAT WE NEED TO DO THIS?


(1)  DEAD HWK 
(2)  HWK HEX FILE.
(3)  MSP FET THAT IS A FREE PROGRAM
(4)  HWK REPAIR DONGLE OR ANY OTHER INTERFACE JTAG OR BSL.

NOW OPEN UFS BOX AND GET DEAD HWK FROM BOX AND CONNECT TO HWK REPAIR
NOW CONNECT DONGLE IN PC USB PORT . IF YOUR COMPUTER HAVE ALREADY PL2303 DRIVERS INSTALLED DONGLE WILL MAKE USB TO SERIAL PORT IF YOU DON'T HAVE INSTALLED DRIVERS PL2303 THEN GIVE DRIVER PATH AND AFTER COMPLETE THIS PROCESS YOU WILL GET USB TO SERIAL PORT. NOW OPEN MSP FET PROGRAM AND CLICK ON SETUP MAKE SETTING CURRENT ADAPTER SETTING  AND SELECT BSL  AND BLOW SELECT YOU COM PORT NO. OTHER SETTING CHANGE LIKE VIDEO.NOW SELECT YOUR MCU NO HERE WE ARE WORKING ON MSP430F1121A SO SELECT THE MSP430F1121A
